When the research swarm reports back

One word. Many public sources. One usable picture.

What happened

Stood up a last-30-days research agent and gave it one word: Intel. Parallel public sources (Reddit, X, YouTube, HN, Digg, and more) stacked into one brief — High-NA / 18A chatter, Panther Lake as shipping silicon, Nova Lake leaks, capital-raise noise, forum humor that outran PR.

The punchline wasn’t a single hot take. It was watching the swarm finish and land as a readable picture, then turning that into a local-AI hardware map (process lead ≠ Mac-style UMA; B70-class speed vs fat unified memory; why the “UMA desktop + stick a discrete card in it” box mostly doesn’t exist).

Takeaway

Agent work can be public research synthesis, not only private chore automation. The realization of the work is the rollup — many threads, one usable frame.
